Assess whether your existing data may support a data partnership.

Years of doing business can produce proprietary datasets with uses beyond their original purpose. As a separate service, A-Type evaluates whether defined, appropriate data may help improve, train, or evaluate AI systems, provide domain-specific context, or support a legitimate research or enterprise need.

The useful signal is often in the path from request to result.

The value is in the steps between systems.

A request arrives by email, becomes a scheduled job, needs an approval, and ends with an invoice. The records between those steps can show how people use judgment, handle exceptions, and get work completed.

That connected history may help organizations develop or evaluate AI for multi-step work. A-Type assesses whether your records preserve useful context and could support an appropriate outside use.

What can make operating history useful for research.

Volume alone is not the point. Usefulness depends on whether the records preserve meaningful context, can be connected to outcomes, and may be reviewed for a clearly defined purpose.

A-Type evaluates the opportunity before any external use.

We look at usefulness, connected outcomes, ownership, permissions, privacy, quality, and the intended purpose. If the facts support another step and the business wants to continue, A-Type can help prepare for a separate conversation with a qualified organization.

The company keeps its original records and decides what may be considered. No outside organization receives access to live systems.

An assessment is not a financial valuation or a promise of buyer interest, licensing, payment, acceptance, or timing.

Not all valuable data is operational.

A dataset does not need to describe an internal workflow to merit evaluation. Niche, specialized, historical, industry-specific, or other proprietary information accumulated as a byproduct of doing business may have relevance of its own.

A partnership or licensing opportunity is considered only when the data, purpose, rights, and safeguards support another step.

Common questions about data programs.

What is a data partnership?

It is an arrangement in which proprietary data may support a defined, legitimate outside use. A-Type first assesses relevance, connected context, outcomes, quality, ownership, permissions, and safeguards. Licensing may be one commercial mechanism, but an assessment is not a promise that an opportunity exists.

Who might use this type of data?

Depending on the dataset and use case, qualified organizations with a legitimate need for proprietary, domain-specific data. A-Type evaluates fit and relevance before determining whether an introduction or partnership makes sense.

Can industry-specific or non-operational data still have value?

Potentially. A-Type can separately evaluate niche, specialized, historical, industry-relevant, or other non-operational datasets, assess what makes them distinctive, and identify organizations that may have a legitimate reason to use or license them. Demand and licensing are never guaranteed.

What if our records are not a fit?

That is a useful answer too. It does not affect your access to our training, community, or consulting.

Is this part of the community or training?

No. Data programs are a separate service. Joining the community, a cohort, or team training never requires sharing business data.

Introducing a business?

Partners make the connection. A-Type explains the work, assesses fit, and coordinates next steps. Partners do not promise eligibility, pricing, timing, or a transaction.

  1. Recognize a possible fit

A business may have years of connected records, specialized datasets, or both.

  2. Ask permission

Confirm that the owner or authorized leader is open to an introductory conversation with A-Type.

  3. Make the introduction

Share the connection. A-Type will explain the work, assess the opportunity, and guide any appropriate next step.

Could your business records be worth a closer look?

Tell us what your business does and where its history lives. Do not send records. We will reply by email to discuss whether further review makes sense.
